The Project: VIR Cable replacement project.
When: November 2021 – May 2024.
The Scope: Installation of new conduit and cabling to replace failing vulcanised Indian rubber cabling
throughout ARTC’s rail network from Mile end to Salisbury.
The Highlights:
- TPC were awarded 5 x consecutive packages.
- TPC were engaged as head contractor.
- 100’s of class C rail approved pits installed.
- Total Project value $6M.
- Track protection and rail permits.
- Over 50 x undertrack crossings.
- Directional boring and trenching for new infrastructure.
- Rail signalling and earthing.
- Safety award for incident free project.
